Production & capability

What runs inside our Hangzhou workshop, and how each stage protects your order.

Our workshop

Six stages, one silk cluster

Stage names and sequence, so you know exactly where your order is at any point.

Stage 01

Pattern & fit

Digitised patterns, graded to your size chart and checked on a fit sample before cutting.

Stage 02

Fabric inspection

Silk inspected for slubs, colour and usable width before it reaches the cutting table.

Stage 03

Cutting

Careful single and multi-layer cutting so bias lines stay stable on slip dresses.

Stage 04

Sewing

French seams, rolled hems and piped edges for sleepwear, robes and scarves.

Stage 05

Digital printing

Reactive printing with a wash-fastness check on every print batch.

Stage 06

Finishing & QC

Thread trimming, steam pressing and 100% piece inspection before packing.

What you receive

A pre-shipment inspection summary, packing list and the export documents your destination market needs.

Where we are honest

We are a small studio rather than a large plant, so we quote the capacity we can hold - and we say no when a deadline is not realistic.

Visits

Buyers are welcome to visit the workshop by appointment; we will share the address and a schedule once your sample is approved.

Capacity, stated plainly

We schedule against the lines we control plus long-term partners in the same silk cluster, and we quote the volume we can actually hold rather than the volume you want to hear.

Production questions

Asked before most first orders

On printed styles we print the fabric first, then cut, so the pattern placement is consistent across every panel in the order. Placement prints and all-over repeats are both possible, and we always send a printed strike-off for approval before bulk.

Panels are cut from the same dye lot and shade-banded before sewing, so pieces from one order match. If an order is split across two dye lots for capacity reasons, we tell you before production rather than after.

You send fit notes, we adjust the pattern and re-sample. Sampling continues until the fit is signed off in your base size and your largest size, so the bulk order reproduces an approved garment.

Come and see the stages you care about

Tell us which stage you want to verify - pattern, cutting, printing or final inspection - and we will walk you through it with photographs, on a live video call, or in person by appointment.
